What Is Therapy?
Therapy is the exploration of our experiences, traumas, attitudes, thoughts and feelings that inform our present behavior.
Cognitive Behavior, Trauma-Centered and Solution Focused therapies are the modalities that I utilize to assist clients in the process of adopting new attitudes and perspectives towards life situations.
The clients' role is to make a concerted effort to implement the aforementioned psychotherapy methods to create self-understanding. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix, but a process that necessitates participation and investment from both of us - you (the client) and I (the therapist).
Through a productive therapeutic relationship, it is completely possible to remove barriers & accomplish positive changes that can help clients move from surviving to thriving!
