What Is Therapy?

Therapy is the exploration of our attitudes, thoughts, experiences and feelings that inform our present behavior.


A therapeutic relationship is a partnership. My role as your therapist is teach you Cognitive Behavior and Solution Focused techniques and interventions to promote change and to assist you in the adoption of new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. Your role is to make a concerted effort to implement the aforementioned psychotherapy methods to create self-understanding.  It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix, but a process that necessitates participation and investment from both of us - you (the client) and I (the therapist).
